Laura E. Soerensson

Senior Associate

Laura E. Soerensson, received her B.A. in Communications from Baruch College, City University of New York; and her M.Ed., Education, Policy, Planning, and Leadership: Higher Education Administration from the College of William & Mary. In 2023, she earned a certificate in Project Management from Georgetown University.


Laura has 15 years of higher education experience and has worked directly with students and faculty at Georgetown since 2012 in various roles including; Deputy University Registrar, Assistant Dean at the McDonough School of Business and Associate Director at the School of Foreign Service. Prior to Georgetown, she held various positions at The College of William and Mary as Assistant Director of MBA
Admissions and Data Manager with the School of Education. Before starting in higher education, Laura worked primarily in accounting and human resources for a decade and lived in Germany and France for 12 years as an expatriate. Laura looks forward to leveraging her expertise and knowledge to all BDOG
projects and specifically enjoys meaningful work which positively impacts students, faculty, and staff. In her free time, Laura enjoys museum visits, cooking, tai chi, long walks, and listening to local musicians in the DMV area.
