Abbey Roach

Senior Associate

Abbey has worked at Georgetown University for nine years focusing on the strategy and execution of increasing philanthropic investment to the University — resulting in millions of dollars in philanthropic support. She most recently served as the Director of Development for the School of Nursing & Health Studies where she focused on developing constituent engagement frameworks that prioritized philanthropic revenue generation. In this role she partnered with many internal and external stakeholders to receive buy-in on projects and advise on various strategic initiatives. Prior to Georgetown, she worked at Inova where she managed health educational programming for the community which included overseeing the logistics of over a thousand health education classes annually across various sites. Throughout her career, Abbey has used her organizational, data analysis, communication and planning skills to improve efficiencies, streamline processes and provide exceptional client service. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina (where she hails), a master’s from Georgetown University in Public Relations & Communications, and is currently working on her Certificate in Project Management at Georgetown.
